I met Jesse at a rather scary moment. I’d agreed to take part in the Great Kindrochit Quadrathlon for charity which involved a 1.35km open water swim across Loch Tay. I hadn’t been able to swim more than about 50m in a pool (with the benefit of the sides) since I had lessons aged 11. So at 43 years old not only was the open water aspect a fearful consideration, but certainly the distance.

Recommended by a friend, Jesse was magnificent from the first consultation. Throughout he was a calming influence both by the nature of his character but also because of his expertise. Having undertaken an initial session with Jesse I felt reassured that he could devise a programme that would help with technique, so as to gain as much efficiency in the water as possible, with fitness, it is amazing how different swimming fitness is to that from running and cycling at which I felt quite strong, and also as to generally being comfortable in the water.

Over a 10 session programme I was able to gain far more confidence than I thought I would, being appropriately pushed by Jesse at the right moments, but equally reassured. His manner is charming, kind and personable; his knowledge first class; and his value almost immeasurable. I can’t recommend Jesse highly enough I thoroughly encourage you to at least meet for that initial consultation so you can find out for yourself.
